Keith B. McMullin

Keith Brigham McMullin is president and chief executive officer of Deseret Management Corporation. Prior to joining Deseret Management Corporation, Mr. McMullin served on the corporation’s board of directors. He was a general authority and member of the Presiding Bishopric of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1995 to 2012. Prior to this, he served as managing director of the Church’s Welfare Services activities. Mr. McMullin had earlier been with Ford Motor Company and several small businesses. Mr. McMullin is a graduate of the University of Utah.

Sheri Dew is executive vice president of Deseret Management Corporation and the CEO of Deseret Book Company. She served in the General Presidency of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1997-2002 and was a White House delegate to the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations. Ms. Dew serves on the National Advisory Council of BYU’s Marriott School of Management. She is a best-selling author, public speaker and recognized leader. Ms. Dew is the author of the official biographies of Gordon B. Hinckley and Ezra Taft Benson as well as a number of other best-selling titles including, No Doubt About It, Women and the Priesthood, and Amazed by Grace. Ms. Dew is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

CEO & Chief Investment Officer of Beneficial Life Insurance Company
Kirby Brown is chief financial officer of Deseret Management Corporation and president, CEO and chief investment officer of Beneficial Life Insurance Company. Mr. Brown’s investment management experience extends over 25 years, including 13 years in various senior positions with ING Groep N.V. (ING), a Dutch multinational banking and investment management company. He is an officer of several not-for-profit organizations. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
Gary B. Porter
Senior Vice President at DMC
Mr. Gary B. Porter is currently a Senior Vice President at Deseret Management Corporation. His responsibilities include Human Resources, Community Relations, Executive Director of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Foundation, and the President and CEO of Temple Square Hospitality Corporation.
Mr. Porter received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics in 1978 and a master’s degree in Agri-Business Management from Brigham Young University in 1979. In 1979 he began working in the Welfare Services department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His responsibilities included management of the Church’s bishops’ storehouses, welfare farms, livestock production and processing facilities, and the Church’s Deseret Transportation fleet.
In 1998, he was appointed as Secretary to the Presiding Bishopric and managing director of the Presiding Bishopric Administrative Services department. In that capacity he supported the Presiding Bishopric in day-to-day administrative and operational responsibilities, and also represented them on various boards within the local business community.
Gary was born in Glasgow, Montana on May 10, 1950. He married Debra Lyn Cox in November 1978. They are the parents of five children and two grandchildren. The Porters currently reside in Syracuse, Utah.
Darrell K. Brown
President of Bonneville International Corporation
Darrell K. Brown is president of Bonneville International Corporation that operates KSL Television in Salt Lake City and radio stations in Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City. Mr. Brown previously served as president of McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Company with a career spanning 28 years in sales, management, general manager and vice president roles for ABC and Azteca America television stations in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO. Additionally, Mr. Brown has served as chairman of the ABC Television Affiliates Association and as an executive board member of Minneapolis based Internet Broadcasting Systems. He has served on various non-profit executive boards in San Diego, Denver and Salt Lake City, including the Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Boy Scouts of America and Primary Children's Hospital. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
Gregory D. Peterson
VP Chief Marketing and Revenue
Greg comes to DMC after 20 years with The Kellogg Company. Greg started with Kellogg as a Brand Manager in the US business, and was VP, Marketing Services for Kellogg before starting his international travels with the company. Greg was the Managing Director for Kellogg's UK and Irish businesses and a Vice President of the global Kellogg Company. Greg has international leadership experience in many countries. During his career he has been the Managing Director/CEO for Kellogg business units in the UK + ROI, Australia + New Zealand, Canada, Kellogg Asia, and South Africa + southern Africa. He has a track record of growing the business and building strong teams.
Prior to joining Kellogg, Greg was at Procter & Gamble in Brand Management.
Greg holds a B.A. in Marketing from University of Utah and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University with a concentration in marketing and finance.
President of Deseret Book Company
Jeff Simpson is president of Deseret Book Company and publisher of the Deseret News. Prior to his current assignment at Deseret Book Company, he was the president and CEO of Bonneville International. Mr. Simpson’s diverse media background began at Walt Disney Pictures and Buena Vista Television. He then built Excel Entertainment Group, which became a successful independent media distributor. The Excel Entertainment Group was acquired by Deseret Book Company at which time Mr. Simpson became Deseret Book’s executive vice president and COO. He has served on the board of directors of the National Association of Broadcasters, the United Way and other local community organizations. Mr. Simpson is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

Brandon Burton is president of Bonneville Communications. Bonneville Communications creates compelling media experiences that inspire individuals. During his tenure at Bonneville Communications, he has focused his efforts on account strategy, helping clients to bridge the gap between their objectives and the needs of their audience. He has also developed cross channel marketing strategies for a variety of national cause-oriented organizations. Mr. Burton is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
