Michael Colemere is the President of Deseret Book Company. He brings more than 17 years of senior leadership experience with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having previously served as Homeland Director at FamilySearch International—overseeing operations across Asia, the Philippines, Oceania, and Africa—and as Managing Director of the Church Communication Department for twelve years.
Before joining the Church in 2009, Michael built a successful career in technology and business leadership. He served as CEO and Chairman of MediConnect.net and held officer-level positions at VERITAS Software and Seagate Software, where he led product management, marketing, and product direction assignments. Earlier, he served as Director of Strategic Business Development at Cheyenne Software and held various product management and development management roles at Novell.
Michael holds an MBA and a BS in Information Management from Brigham Young University.
