Bonneville International
Bonneville International Corporation (BIC) was organized in 1964, but its roots go back to 1922, when the first commercial radio station in Utah (KZN) began broadcasting from a tin shack atop a downtown Salt Lake City building. In 1925, KZN became KSL, which grew to be the strongest radio station in the Intermountain West. KSL Television was added in 1949.

BIC is now a major national broadcasting group. The company owns and operates radio stations in eight major markets across the U.S.:

Chicago (WDRV-FM, WILV-FM, WTMX-FM)
Washington, D.C. (WFED-AM/FM, WTOP AM/FM)
Seattle (KIRO-AM Sports, KIRO-FM News-Talk, KTTH-AM)

St. Louis (WARH-FM, WIL-FM, WXOS-FM)
Cincinnati (WKRQ-FM, WREW-FM, WUBE-FM, WYGY-FM, The Sound Cincinnati-94.9 FM HD2)
Salt Lake City (KRSP-FM, KSFI-FM, KSL-AM/FM)

BIC also owns and operates NBC affiliate KSL 5 Television in Salt Lake City, as well as operating divisions Bonneville Communications, Bonneville Interactive, and Bonneville Satellite Company.

The company is headquartered at Broadcast House in Salt Lake City. Its stated mission is "Making a difference through mass communications."
